I want to relocate to the DR. How long is the process to apply for Temporary Residence? Once I have Temp. Residency is there a requirement that I enter the country in a certain amount of time? Once in the country do I have to stay a certain length of time before I can return to the US? I want to have my Temp. residency before I make the move for good. If I apply can I satisfy all requirements after I am approved by spending a week in country?

you do not need to live in DR if you do not want to before and after you become temperary residency. you have to visit DR for 2 time to apply temperary residency if you do not live in DR.
