V is a toughie.....
How about a little lesson in the V/B pronunciation, i.e. "B como burro o V como vaca??" Also a problem with their spelling too.
Villa 'anyplace' or Villas in general
Valverde?
Verguenza?? or more appropriately "sin verguenza"

I have been interviewed by Expat Focus about life in the DR, and about the blog, so now is your chance to see Matilda in the flesh so as to speak. Got a good plug in the interview for DR1 too. I hope you enjoy it, and I still need ideas for letter V please.
