Goat meat can be cooked on solar oven, or smoked in converted Yert. Many goats can be smoked in one Yert saving much energy. Cheese from goat milk is very healthy, but not after the goat is smoked. Must milk goats first, many make their own cheese.

Yak cheese is very healthy too, even better than cow cheese made in Socialistic Canada.
Yak Cheese: Exotic, But Healthy?
Lawyers and professors can eat goat too, maybe even yak meat. Gobi desert is fun place, no expensive heating needed as in U.S. Also, no pollution from many boats. Camels produce much ethane, maybe harvest to reduce needs for natural gas. Low carbon foot print is good for ecology. Many retirees can be lawyers part time, not much income needed with pensions.

Great chance for nearshoring US legal work. Something for well educated Dominicans to do. Cuba produces lots of doctors - no need to compete.

Healthy living will move the DR up in the retirement stakes. I guess there is competition from Mongolia and other places - but there are campsites in the DR at only $10 or so a night. DR is tops in the healthy eating stakes and has a superb climate in many places.

For your $10/night, take your pick of contracting Dengue fever, malaria or hepatitis A, B or C.

Just got back from "Super Pola",bought 3 pounds of pork chops imported from USA,you know,"That Expensive Place",79 pesos a pound, next to the dominican porkchops,at 99 pesos a pound!
Many retirees are chosing to stay in the USA.If they get sick, they can find a REAL DOCTOR.In a REAL HOSPITAL,with REAL NURSES,and Techs.
The DR might be a good place to live, but it is a horrible place to DIE!
Ask the 7 who died in Santiago this weekend!

Difficult to wear that mosquito net when taking a dump in the jungle.
