Call Dr. Marc Schechter in santo domingo. He is in touch with the small jewish community in SD and attends the synagogue there on regular bases.
Call him during working hours : 412 7690 office. He is american so you can converse in english.
He is a fine gentleman and would be able to help you with pleasure.
