Default Cold Lunch

My wife has been telling me for 2 months, to get our empty gas tank filled.
I went home for lunch today.
And she has this big smile, and says to me " We are out of gas".
So I throw both tanks in the truck and go get them filled.
The paper tag around the valve on both tanks said $ 450. pesos, each, from last time.
The guy laughed and told me $ 600. each. and that it's going to up another $ 200. in the next 3 weeks.

It felt like I was back in NY, buying heating oil, for the house.
0.69 @ gallon, untill it got cold and you really needed it, Then it was usually 1.69 @ gallon.

The more things change---

Thanks
Tim H.

Update

My folks just called and they had to buy 300 gallons of fuel oil, NY is -12, below Zero. They paid $ 2.62 @gallon

Tim, it is more expensive now. And it will get worse if the Venezuelans don't make their mind on whether to kick Chavez or go back to work.
