Wasn't Johnny a vodka man? I bought a little bottle of vodka today in rememberance. But maybe I'm wrong.
Some of my friends here in Zona Colonial that know Johnny were so shocked and saddened.
Can't stop thinking about him. And he will have the first drop of every bottle I open from now on. Never did that before but now I understand why people do that!
Long live Johnny in everyones thoughts and memories!

I met Johnny at two DR1 gatherings (Jaragua and Eddy's) and on both occasions foremost in his conversation was an attitude about helping others. I remember he went out of his way to explain the good and bad about time sharing practices, and without us asking, headed my husband and me in the right direction for night entertainment in Sosua.

Robert and I propose we dedicate the next DR1 Thanksgiving gathering in Puerto Plata to him.

You have to be kidding. If he doesn't show up to my Thanksgiving dinner I will knock the tatoos off of his hairy ass.

I actually said this once before after he pulled a no show at one of my parties. We will certainly toast and curse the SOB for not showing up next month!

Just like to send my condolences to Johnny's family and friends. I had hoped to meet him in the future. You'll be missed, Johnny; your posts were always entertaining.

Unhappy John

I have printed this thread and I will make sure that it gets to John's family in Canada.
There will be a memoriam (in the DR) in the next few days and I will post the information tomorrow.
God bless him
