are the rates better in puerto plata or sosua, or are they around the same, i will be exchanging around $1000 us or canadian, not sure yet,

I exchanged $1000US this morning in Sosua at the corner of PJs restaurant, bargained with the street cambio hombres and got 34.05..........I always bargain when doing larger amounts, smaller amounts too, ha ha.

can anyone tell me some rates for canadian dollars?? On the world market we are higher than the u.s dollar right now and am wondering if the rates have risen in the DR.
