Default Relocating Questions

Hi, I'm lookinga at relocating to the Dominican Republic From the US and I've got a few questions about living there.

1. What are the taxes like?
2. What about bringing in pets from the US?
3. what about importing our house hold stuff and cars?

also is it expensive to buy property in the Dominican Republic? I'm also looking at Belize and you can get a good size lot on the beach for $50,000 is it as cheap as that in the DR?

There is a tremendous amount of information in the archives on the subjects you mention. Click on the search button near top of this page, then search for such things as pets, importing cars, importing furniture.

Beach front property is expensive in the areas most popular with tourists and foreign investors. How far your money will go is something you should talk with a realtor about in the area you are interested in.

Great lead Robert, went to the link and brought back a lot of old memories and added to one of the ones I had started because of new things in my life.

That link is worth US$1,000's. You just don't realize it until you have lived here a while

Personally I think you are selling way under its market worth! 1000 dollar is a friggen bargain for the gems in there. Hell mine was worth that much and the others have to have some value.
