Clinica de Otorinolaringoiatria
I had bronchitis a few weeks ago, so I did a search on the board for hospitals etc and found out "Clinica de Otorrinolaringosomething" on 27 & Duarte.
Actually I had decided to go to Abreu's, but since the specialist'secretary gave me the standard Dominican treatment ("quisiera una cita con el doctor - si venga en 2 semanas" etc.) and since the Clinica is listed on a post on this board, I went there.
Doctor saw un gringo blanco con seguro medico grande, and told me I had an allergy. He got a pre printed form from his desk, with all the standard tests the Clinica does, and checked EVERY SINGLE ONE of them.
On my way out, also told me to check for cat hair in my apartment...
I walked down to Clinica Gazcue and a pneumologist gave me cough syrup and ciprofluoxacin, I was healed in 4 days.
