Santo Domingo apartment

I am looking to rent a one or 2 bedroom apartment that is not a disgusting dump in Santo Domingo with a reasonable rent - hard to find.

Any leads would be appreciated.

where? how much is a "reasonable rent" ?

I think for a reasonable rent stay away from zona colonial, out of this barria you can get a reasonable rent everywhere, from US$5000 in malecon center to $3000 pesos in villa mella , depending on your budget,

you can check listin diario, best on mondays, also in the internet but there only appear part of the adds.

anyway, if you rent furnished always ask for a planta or inversor, everyone will tell you "in this zone there are not blackouts!" but...

I currently rent a 2 bedroom (I only use one of the bedrooms) fully furnished with ac, inverter, and planta. It's located on a busy street in Piantini. I pay $US 525 a month plus electric and cable.

I was hoping to get something cheaper but still with an inversor or planta and ac.
