I can drive over to the site where they were keeping the dumpsters, to see if those are the ones that are now in POP.
I'll let you know when I find out.
As for any other info, I don't think I could find out any more than what I already mentioned.
But, if you would like to assign me a job, could I be the guy who collects the 1,000 pesos fines for littering?

Oh sure, on my "authority." Go for it! LOL
Marco, I don't assign anybody anything, not even the GT members. They volunteered! [Yeah, crazy, eh?] I may persuade, cajole, etc., but never presume to "assign."
Nah, I was just wondering if there was someone willing to play "pinch hit" translator for Planner if she's actually willing to go to city hall and talk to the people implementing the dumpster program, with a view to getting something interesting for write-up in a GT blog. Since you had indicated a strong interest in litter/trash issues just last night, I thought you'd jump at the chance

You mean jump into the trash, so to speak.
Well, I live in Sosua and Planner is there in POP, so I'll pass on this one, but I am officially applying for the fine collecting job, and I promise that a certain percentage of the take will get to the proper department.

I'd like to find out more about the politician responsible for implementing the program. He might be the one-in-a-million politician that cares about his constituency (or we might find out that he set up the program because his brother-in-law has the collection contracts).

Yeah, could be. Be interesting to find out which is the case.
Playing devil's advocate for a moment, if it works and continues to work for many years, and doesn't cost insane amounts, will it matter who got the contract?

Of course not.
I am more interested in finding out the politician responsible for the project, rather than if there were any ulterior motives. It should be simple to find the former, probably impossible for the latter.
