I am able to pick up a few Canadian stations my 26' mesh dish on C and Ku bands. As for BEV or Starchoice, we are a way out of the footprint. I have tried with an 8' fibreglass dish and only a few transponders can be picked up. I was unable to get a lock on RDS or TSN. Perhaps someone with a good 10 or 12' fibreglass dish might be able to but they cost a fortune.
