But you have to admit he has a sharp mind and a witty sense of humour.
I am told that there is a motorbike license, apart from a car license.
I'm not sure how easy or difficult it might be to get.

I only know that people here (in Samaná) couldn't care less about having one.

Default Bowling membership

I did not have a license when I first came down here. I got stopped ones and showed them a bowling membership - that worked.

Now I have a drivers license (bought one) and that is supposed to work for all vehicles up to the size of a Boeing 737.

It may... until the day you are involved in an accident.
Then you'll wish you hadn't bought the license.

It's not a big hassle to get the proper license and it may even be cheaper.
Anyhow, in the long run.

Default Bought a license...

meaning paying my lawyer, get a signed note that as given to the person responsible for the theory test... Everytime a new question popped up, she came and pressed the right bottom. My license is the same as yours - in the computer, very cheap, no hazzle.

Accident - better stay away from that, since Gringo will pay regardless...
