Any Children's Competitive Soccer in DR?

Are there soccer leagues in the DR for young people? Fields, coaches?

I know a few boys who are interested, but I'm not sure what might be up and running.

on saturdays in el choco there's a kids group, up till about 11 years old, otherwise iss gets the kids together. Anyone considered adult can come to el choco wednesday, friday and sunday at 5pm.

Tons. Mainly in the larger cities and in the private schools.
In Santo Domingo there are plenty of teams and it is a thriving business for coaches and sponsors...

I am coming to Santo Domingo June 30th, for 7 weeks, I have my level 2 National Soccer Coaching Certification, and have played university soccer here in Canada. I absolutely love the sport.

How can I get myself involved both coaching and playing? Is it normal for females to play in the DR?

La Federación Dominicana de Fútbol is located at the Olympic Stadium. Go theremost any day and ask.
FYI, their offices are on the south side of the stadium, towards the swimming pool and judo areas.
