visiting dominican republic for 30 days.

Hey, I am a 21 year old girl , wanting to visit the dominican republic, again,( this will be number 5) but this time for 30 days,( i want to eventually move there) I want to rent a furnished apartment or apartment hotel, but for a reasonable price! I would like to stay in la romana or bavaro, can anyone tell me what the average apartment rents for out there,, or apartment hotel..


Also, as far as visa stuff.. I use my birth certificate( i know i can only do that till jan) but is there anything else i need to do to be all good to go , to stay there for 30 days?visa or anything?


Anything else you would advise would be appreciated!
