Internet by satellite

Does anyone know what is the best person to see for reasonable priced Internet by satellite. I have seen Hughes net on TV for $400 up front and $59 per month but not available in the DR. Also direct tv is also not available here.

I'm far from being an expert on this, bit I know that the poster "Chris" can tell you everything you want to know about Sat internet and you are correct that there is no legal direct TV here, but a lot of people have Sat TV service by way of larger dishes and "illegal" cards.
