Fatal Accident -Los Conucos/Playa Juan Dolio Intersection.

Yesterday evening a motoconcho carrying one passenger was attempting to beat on-coming traffic to cross the highway.

The moto was hit by an SUV and exploded (partly because of the tendency to mix either 151 or pure gasoline in the tank to extend milage) killing one person and seriously injuring another. It is unlikely the injured male will survive.

we heard this news this morning however we were preoccupied with friends needing medical attention/consult this morning,so I am just posting now.

DH went to have his hair cut after we returned home from SPM today and was shown a gruesome cell phone video of the deceased in flames and dying.
Having worked for years in the emergency room of a hospital, he has seen many burn patients( and helped care for them) however this grossed him out completely!!!

What morbid creatures we are to calmly film another persons' misfortune!
