Thanks Lou Yeh Maybe I look in to that I sent Hans too an E mail the guy that does the penion for 240 a month studio type place too,,,He never sent me a reply yet,,,OK You dont think your Aunt can lower it to 250 at least??? Thanks if so,,Rockero..

the detailed negociations should be done between you and your landlord, not on the bord.
contact them by PM/e-mail/phonecall aso.
if you finally made your great deal you can come here on the low budget thread and report your experience/quote/rate/area where finally rented,
but the negociations itself are not part of this forum thread.

I KNOW Mike I know but I sent Hans AN E mail Yesterday and how come he has not replied yet???? if he runs a hotel if he cant answer it someone else should be able to answer me,,,Its been 24 hours now and no response and it seems not enough info is on this place,,,,His Website says 10 a night or 240 a month but others mention here 8 dollars a night,,,Maybe it would be 8 a night if the peso hits 4 or 50 pesos,,,So Im lokking for help thats why I am posting here,,,I am not trying to spam here just trying to find what else is for the price of 10 a night if not his and he wont respond,,Sorry but its starting to worry me a bit on this,,,I did send the e mail I know,,,Why no response???? I Have no money to call long distance DR thats too much,,,OK Hope you understand Dude,,,ROCKERO......

Its The Swede Guy who does that Apart pension Serana I think the name is its for 240 a month or to 10 a day,,I see Hans has not posted here in two years,,Maybe too many people now go here and its impossible to get a room,,I dont know if he wont respond to me,,,WHAT SHOULD I DO THEN???????????????????

Hi Rockero,
I don't know anything about this hotel you're talking about, or even Santo Domingo for that matter, but I think you should give the guy longer than 24 hours to respond before getting too worried. You know how things are in DR... electricity problems, internet problems, etc... He's probably just working on Dominican time, which means it might take him a few days before he responds. Good luck with finding a place in the price range you're looking for though.

right,
240 a month, just 8 bucks a day,
he may not be able to efford his own internet connection and checks his e-mails once a week at a internetcafe, lol.
24hrs resond time would be very quick.
on big hotels you wait sometimes a couple weeks before you get the first answer back, so give your swede guy a couple days to check his e-mails.

YEH I will Mike...Well his place says 10 a night on his website and also 240 a month It dont mention how much a weekly is??? I heard too though he only does monthlys so I am kind of confused on this,,,OK so far day two and no reply from his yahoo to my yahoo,,,I keep you up to date on this,,Rockero...

That is the reason he has not responded. It is such a good deal that he hasn't needed to post in 2 years and the Swedish female staff he has is so great that they are sold out almost a year in advance---- Maybe or Mayber Not

What you mean almost a year in advance????? Then where do I go too???? Where can I get a place for 10 a night then??????? I Heard by Parque Indpendencia??? And so Far one week no Hans Response.....
