Need Money Advice
I recently retired from my uncle's import/export business, which mostly ran between Tijuana (Mexico) and San Diego (California). During the eight or so years I worked for him (and his partners), I was able to save up about 4.7 million dollars (USD). My problem is that this money is almost all in the form of cash (and some jewelry).
Is there a place, in the DR, where I could keep my money and it would be safe? This place would have to be willing to accept and count many, many $20- and $50-dollar bills, plus it would have to help me lug the cash to the DR.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I need to start the process of moving the money within the next month or so.
