Default Electricity Voltage At Sosua By The Sea

Could anyone tell me the voltage used at above mentioned hotel?
Will I need an adaptor? If so, what kind?

Thanks for your time.

Where are you travelling from?
I would imagine - the UK from the way you have written your post!

The voltage in the DR is 110v, much less than the UK. You can either buy dual voltage appliances or if you enquire I think you will find that a hairdryer and iron will be available at the hotel.
If you are taking your own 220v appliances - without a motor (radio, phone charger etc) you can buy a cheap adaptor from Tandy or look online for a cheap convertor (ebay have them). You will also need a plug adaptor from the three pin to a 2 pin US style.
If however it is for curling tongs you will need a step up/step down convertor and these are expensive and heavy and really only for regular travellers (like me!) to the DR. You are better off .....
1) buying dual voltage tongs
2) use the hotel salon
3) do without!
Hope this helps.

The voltage and plugs are identical to yours in the US.
You will not need any adapters.
