Shalena

It is no big deal to find someone to do this for you on a part time basis. Also, when you are out of town I expect your good friends in SJ would be able to come and get the kids and watch them on the weekends.

She will clean your house and take care your kids

That's what my mother used to do, they are usually pretty good and grateful, especially if you bring her gift from the STATES (not expensive gift).
I have done that, and have received many offers for hermanas, primas, etc of some of my friends...
The only problem was that I don't want everyone in San Jose de las Matas to know what type of home I am living in, how much food I buy, how my kids are dressed, etc...
I have been there so many times already that they think that I am rich, and I am trying to get rid of that presumption

Also, if the person is full time she will be able to observe her daily routine with the kids and show her how she wants things done.
I may do this, and employ someone full-time and just pay more for the times that I am out of the country.
I AM of course, most interested in the fact that they take great care of my kids, whether or not they are formally educated I could care less.
But I don't know, maybe I'd better take one of the primas and basically adopt her as recommended before...

My children are 14, 9, and 5 years old.
The 5 year old is the boy, and I think we are already too late to discipline him as he is already thoroughly spoiled...
I am trying and trying to get my oldest to stop waiting on him hand and foot.

I think that maybe the best is to employ someone full-time and have them stay when I am out of town...
I will put the word out when I am there and wait for the recommendations.
Although, a girl from the Campo might be the right way to go also...

Please God let my neighbors be Bochincheras!

Oh my God! don't tell me that everytime you go, you wear a lot of jewels and carried a lot of money? Don't be like the Dominican York!!!

If you had done that, they're probably talking right now saying Shalena is a rich gringa.

No...actually, I don't wear alot of jewelry normally but apparently Campesinos can tell name brand clothing from a mile away. And not even all of my clothing is name brand!
Also, my best friend says that just the fact that I can go over there when I feel like it makes them think that I am rich.
I am not flashy at all...but also the way that you carry yourself makes them think certain things, whether they are true or not...
SHALENA

P.S.
Also the fact that it got out that I had to go to my best friend's sister's house to take a shower because I CANNOT shower in cold water, doesn't help the situation!!!
"Pero tu eres una princesa!" was said to me regarding that situation....
