When they went after the Johns in some U.S. cities and began printing their names in local papers after arrests it did more good than harassing the girls.
A nude protest in the streets sounds pretty bold, interesting, short-lived and totally entertaining. Here's hoping they set a date for the event, it could become more popular than Carnaval (and I have a few vacation days left).

It would be interesting to keep track of all the tattoos in that parade. It may look more like a biker rally than anything, all the tramp stamps that will be visible as the parade passes by.

What I found interesting was how organised the Santiago working girls are 'La portavoz de las trabajadoras sexuales, Bélgica Martínez, pidió a la Policía que las deje trabajar, o de lo contrario, advirtió, marcharán desnudas por las calles.' They have a portavoz (spokesperson) - that sounds organised.

No disrobing.....the police prevented the mass nakedness....some are disappointed the free show will not proceed.

Santiago .- The Police today dispersed dozens of Haitian and Dominican prostitutes who threatened to march naked through the streets of Santiago to protest alleged harassment and indiscriminate arrests by the authorities.
