Default medical benifits for workers ??

Hi all, can anyone offer insight as to weather hotel workers have medical benifits . I have a friend who needs a`operation . what does a person do who has no money. are there social programs , free services ,time payments. I think a few days in the hosp . will be needed thanks

It is law that medical insurance (social security) is paid on behalf of the employee by the empolyer. Your friend should see a contribution deducted from his pay on his/her payslip. I believe the employee pays approx 7% while the empolyer 3%. I expect is will be the most basic of insurances and may only cover a percentage of the treatment required and will not cover medication however i can not be 100% on that.
