Restor PUJ for family w/small child

My fellow DR1 members, I need an opinion on what you would consider a suitable (I don't say the Best - I say suitable) hotel for a family of 3 - which includes a small children of 2 and 1/2 years.

I was suggesting him Ocean Blue and Majestic, but my friend has his mind set on Barcelo (because he visited before - 3 yrs ago) which upon my consideration does not stand anymore to the quality of the other two hotels mentioned.

Opinions of my fellow DR1 members and their suggestions are very welcome, so I can point my friend to this thread.

I liked El Cortecito. (when you say PUJ, I am thinking of Punta Cana, right?)

For $60.00 USD , you get nice rooms with A/C, a very beautiful pool, right next to the beach.

You cant go wrong. Alot of security as well!!!!

Cortecito inn may well be suitable for independent traveller, but it's not an AI
