I may be missing something here on this ley 168. I see this law is for Dominicans that live outside the US for 2 years or more and spend less than 6 months in the DR during that time. Then they can qualify for reduced duty.

Does this also apply to those with permanent residency?

I just read the law, I see it does apply to residents as well that live outside the DR for 2 or more years with less than 6 months in the DR during that time. Not an option for those of us that live here full time in the DR.
