Is Riu mambo is Playa Dorada? Cofresi?

Friends are coming in to the Riu Mambo and we are planning to pick them up for a visit. I have searched and cannot find the exact location. The photos that I see do not look like Playa Dorada.

riu hotels are in Maimon, 5 mins. to cofresi. 10mins. to puerto plata. 15 mins, to playa dorada.

And where is Maimon? Past Cofresi on the Highway going out of Puerto Plata?

if you are leaving puerto plata going to santiago. maimon is just 3-5 mins. after you pass cofresi.
in maimon after you pass riu hotels, you will find the best fresh fish.
you pick yourself the one you like and they will fried for you. very cheap. and safe.
