Default Exploting the natural resourses?

Have you boys ever concidered that you may be exploiting one of the most wonderful and pure natural resourses on this island? The women. You come here with your big bucks. Put dollar signs infront of these good Dominican women. Take from them all they have, and I'm not refering to their belongings and money. Show them what money can buy. Then leave them for a newer model so they can be poor again. Then you tell all your buddies to come here to do the same.
You want this place to be a paradise. Wonderful women. But you go and tell everyone. They come and have their way too. What your creating is a bunch of people dependent on foreigners and giving all their "resourses" to get what the foreigners have.
Reminds me of the song.."You pave paradise and put up a parking lot. Take all the trees , put 'em in a tree museum. Then have to pay $1.50 to see 'em. Don't it always seem to be. Ya don't know what you got til its gone"(Joan Bias..Bais...Baies...can't spell her name)
Can't you keep a secret!

Default natural resources, hmmm

Jan,
I don't know you and you are right that Dominican women are very beautiful. I can speak only for myself. My spanish isn't that great though I am studying it in college but I have the women come on to me 90% of the time. You can't change a country overnight regarding the economy and the limited social mobility. I vacation for relaxation and a benefit in the DR is the easy accessibility of the natural resources. Humanitarianism aside, there is no difference of me going to a bar and picking up a lady in the states or someone cheating on their wife with a mistress or using an escort service. It is unfortunate that highly developed countries such as the US have many countries in Central America and the DR dependent on the US for a source of income but that is life. Everyone knows what the oldest profession is and I am tired of women using it as a tool to punish me when they are upset with me or I forgot our 4th month anniversary, etc. I don't steal, beat women, or lead them on in the US or in the DR, so I don't lose any sleep at night remembering the wonderful resources in the DR. American women can take a lesson from Latina women in general.

Question So Whats Your Point Jan?

We didn't corrupt this country,we just take full advantage of the corruption!Women were cheating on their husbands long before I got here!If Dominican men didn't treat Dominican women like dirt, what foreign man would stand a chance.Hell the young men are as great looking as the young girls!Maybe better, ask "AZB"!"PURE"? Jan,get real! "PURE"? I am ****ing myself!I get about 4 calls a day,2 from "married" women! We don't "take" anything from these women. In case you haven't noticed,"PUSSY" in a renewable resource!!!!And it tastes good too!Your post about the sex trade in the DR,is as bad as if I posted about what it's like to suffer from PMS! You don't know nothing about the sex trade, and I don't know nothing about PMS! Cris

I find it so funny when I am in the DR when one of these DR Beauties tries to play me for a Pizza. Yup you heard it right, a beautiful 20 something year old beauty with a body to die for plays me for a FREAKIN PIZZA like I don't have a clue in this world.

I would buy her a car or a house but no, she has to insult me into buying her a 45 peso Pizza. Oh well, so much for me taking advantage. I bought her the pizza and wouldn't give her the time of day after that. I was too insulted to face a woman that played me for 2 dollars and change.

Have they no self respect? Don't they give a crap what others think about them? What self respecting Puta plays a guy for 2 bux and some silver?

Yeah, I told all my friends to bring down a "Happy meal" with them to get a woman Jan.

Disgusted,
Escott

Ehmmm... Exploitation...I don't buy that.. Tastes of feminism, and I hate that.

Now, I lack the minimum of decadence required to take advantage
of the opportunities I've had, but still. When I've been over there
I've always been swarmed by girls and a fair amount of guys. In
Boca Chica, the school where I used to teach, whenever I enter
a shopping center, go down Conde, visit a university, on the bus
etc etc.. I've got no dollars to wave but even if I had buddied up
with this bunch, aged between 12 to 60, I wouldnt consider it as
using them.

Same with places like Boca Chica. Sankies emptying the accounts
of women who gave them their card and code might be borderland cases but only just. To me it's just about negotiating
a deal between two or more people for a service and the cost of
it. The deal you get depends on how good you're as a negotiator.
A bad deal means you suck as a negotiator, but there's no exploitation methinks. Some of the gals working down there aren't that poor either, they can earn fortunes.

I've tried to ask about the exploitation, why they'd rather do what
they do and not earn a hole lot less working more hours instead.
They look at me and say they'd miss out on a hole lot of fun or
something.

Exploitation...bah...

Miss the attention I get there though, shame my time down there
seem to be at an end. *Sniff*

Default I agree

Arve, Chris, jazzcom I have to agree with you. One of the highlights of my trip was in the Zanzibar cafe in BC and a mature( pretty decent looking) lady, Italian perhaps, was shopping for women, she found two, I bet they had a blast. When they left everyone was cracking up. Any time I try to have a normal conversation in BC after a few minutes it always ends up with a bored look in the girl's eyes and she says, you want to take me to your hotel, if I say no, before I can blink she is stalking the next tourist. In BC the girls exploit the tourists and many enjoy their "jobs", tell me it beats working. So if anyone wants to get sankiezed (for women, I'm including you as well) or for a man, dozens of women wanting to exploit your natural "resource," check out BC. Because of the neverending sexual assaults by the women I can only take BC for a couple of days, Santo Domingo is more my style. At least I can have a conversation with the lady without money being asked for, like a girlfriend experience, and then in the morning, because they aren't like the other women, so they say, they just want to go out to breakfast, some shopping, and then some money to buy a phone card to call you, or money for a taxi, yeah right. In the morning I take her out to breakfast and say here is some money for a cab without her having the chance to ask, and exploiting my financial resources.
Then it is to me to call her again, depending on how much I enjoyed her performance. In no other country do women fall in love so quickly I have had several that professed undying love with just one day or two days. Well enough of my rambling, If I am an exploiter, go to BC or spend more than one day with a self proclaimed normal women in SD or another area, and you will realize who really is being exploited. Merry Christmas to all.

I don't think the girls/sankies there exploit anyone there either. I've seen tourists like me getting robbed from everything they've had and I never feel any pity. I just don't like the word "exploitation" as it makes my toes itch.

The girls in BC can be a nuisance but they know me now so they
know I'm dull and broke. Got loads of friends among them though so say hei from me and they might give you a discount.
I'm younger than most, got blue eyes and buy them beers even
though I don't go with them so we hang out. We also do great
duets in La Noria to some of the bachatas. I do discuss work
with them but if you want to have interesting conversations with someone in BC you have to get friendly with Dolores, the crazy one.

What disgusts me is the bit with the kids, but that's a different
topic.

I do have a parttime project with a bird I met elsewhere in Boca
Chica, no exploitation either but she's a lot more expensive than any of the other gals.

Merry christmas etc.
