Default Girls by region

I just came back from the DR and had a wonderful time! I rented a motorcycle and cruised through the moutains in Samana for a week, and despite the rain it was one of my best trips ever.

However, I noticed that in that area there are a lot of Black Dominican girls, more so than in say Santo Domingo. Next time I go back, I'm hoping to meet girls who have more spanish features, so I was just hoping someone could give me some tips as to what areas contain what ethnicities....I know there will always be exceptions to this, but as a general rule, what areas have higher concentrations of latinas?

You must not have been in the Santiago Province, less of the African ancestry and are generally lighter in complexion, more of the "Latina" look, I cringe using that sentence but I am just posting what I have noticed . Almost all Dominicans have some type of African ancestry though and Dominicanas are beautiful whether they are predominately: blanca, morena, o negra. As Celia Cruz sang: La Negra tiene tumbao

I don't know if you realize it or not,but the above are some rather confusing questions. For example-what do you mean by"spainish features"?Lol! in terms of"what areas contain what ethnicities",dude....most people that live in the DR(regardless of appearance)belong to the same ethnicity-DOMINICANS!

This isn't the first time someone has mentioned something along the lines of-where not to meet black chicks in the DR.All I can say that if you're looking for mestizas or gringas,I think that it would be a good idea not to go to the DR at all.Since the majority of the pop looks some degree of black to most outsiders.Try venezuela or argentina.I heard they have alot of white women there.Even better-iceland or sweden.

The native indians were taino, spaniards killed most of them, but if you go deep enough into the country (Cibao) you will find light skinned, blue eyed beauties............. with NO haitian influence!

Then again I could be lying through my teeth.............. yes that's right lying through my teeth..... go to argentina

Juan,
The darker skin in the DR is not due to Hatian influences but African. Also, the blond hair and blue eyes you were referring to is European (mostly Spanish) influence, not Taino. It is thought that about 500 Tainos from the original population were able to escape Spanish enslavement and flee into the hills. Not enough to have any real influence modern day Dominican physical attributes.

He noticed that oddly enough that all the girls he met spoke fluent Spanish, a key Spanish feature.

Pedro Almodovar movies are also Spanish features.

Samana was basically colonized by black slaves so if you were hoping for a more "latin" look you went to the wrong place. Try the Cibao area of DR. Places like Mao, Moca, and La Vega probably have what you're looking for. Then again you could go to Santo Domingo and see every shade in the Rainbow!!!!!! It's up to you.
