Forbeca, some people are IT professionals and have to live on the internet, others are retired and some maybe just went home and stayed home for the day. I've been making web pages all day.

I work with clients of my software all day long doing support, and when not being bothered with silly questions programming. So stupid little DR1 posts get to be answered quickly and easily from Xanadu because I am always 'ON'. And not artificially always 'ON' via little blue pills like the big guy in S.D. :: wink ::

Criss, Sancochojoe, and all the others, thank you so much for the comments, especially concerning being a gentlemen with charm. Criss, I am new to DR, but not Latin culture. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder, and although I am not a model, with a slim figure, 6'4" tall, a full head of hair, and blue eyes I am considered "guapo" so my first comments will stand. Even if I am "40ish", trust me, being kind, polite, and considerate goes a long-long way, whether in Medellin, Colombia, or Santo Domingo.

From the gringo with the kind heart and juuuuust a touch of Latin Sangre in him, (really)

I was going to be cute, but I will be nice. Here 'guapo' means 'angry'. 'Guapo' is handsome in Mexican spanish, but this is the Dominican Republic. You need to brush up a bit 'bro lest some other more potentially deadly faux pas's trip you up. Word.

Thanks Tom, as well it stands for "handsome in Colombia & Venezuela, but I do know what you mean, on "crossover translations" from one country to the next. I will be more cautious ! My intention though is to truly have a good time, & meet some good people while doing some business there.

Tengas un buen dia,

Michael
