If you know that sankies, weather they are males or females, are the scum of the earth, and you STILL let them get to you, then do not come here lamenting about it. Don't sankies lovers know that they are making asses out of themselves in everybody's eyes. Why the need to be entertained by a sankie when there are many good dominican people that you can have a good time with?. Why start at the bottom of the barel. For instance, take the beach sankies, does naybody knows of one of those creature honestly fall in love with a foreigner and live happily ever after?. Well, he/she will live happily ever after after taking all her/his money.
As I said before, perfect or a saint I am not but I really do know when someone is taking me for a ride. If I need a sankie to make me feel good about myself, cono, I am in trouble. Again, bed a sankie at your own risk and when he/she start asking you for clothes and money, just remember that we told you so. And let us know who you are so we can distance ourselves from you (in a romantic way).

true indeed

as already stated, why go through all these goals in life ( Like Academics) and then hang out with these people? It is not being superior, but about giving yourself more respect.

I didn't go down there to meet anyone, just went down to get some sun, relaxation and down time. The fact that someone flirted with me and I flirted harmlessly back just happened.

I know I should not need ANYONE else's validation as to my self-worth, and normally I don't. I was just in a place right then when I was feeling really low. Yeah, I know, I probably projected that and put a great big red flag out there. Maybe that was exactly what I needed at the time without even realizing it. Does no one else go through times in their life when everything just really feels awful, when you don't really care about yourself you are so down?

I know this will sound melodramatic, but frankly, in a way I think he may have unwittingly saved my life. My dr told me at least a year before that if I didn't change my ways that I would wind up having a heart attack by the time I'm 40 (3 years away). I frankly didn't care, I was in the doldrums so bad. If this was what it took to bring me back to the person I was before, then thank God for that! I did not have any kind of physical relationship with him, nor will that ever happen, but that brief moment in time was just what I needed.

I know, I know, I am a sad, sorry excuse for a human being that I would need a sanky to make me feel better about myself. But, hey, now I'm back on track and better than ever. Isn't that the main thing? My health is going nowhere but up, and the numbers on the scale are on their way down. I may be fat now, but once the extra weight is gone, baby WATCH OUT!

I know one very well educated European woman that lived 3 years in DR and then went back to Europe 4 years ago with her sankie.

Here she had to fight the other girl friends.
She paid the lawyer for the divorce and today still support the kids of the previous wife.
She had to get him out of jail a few times.
The real sankie scene.

It took him two years to adjust to Europe, now he fits in.
The perfect trophy husband. Perfect black latino eye candy.

But she could afford it. Her grand-pa left her a trust fund of over 10 (ten) millions Euro.

I am sure she is still in love and he still loves her. She was (is?) my friend and I still see her once in a while in social situation.

END of good story.

I know one poor woman who took her man to Canada,
Paid the divorce,
Paid the support for the wife, the kids.

Within 2 months he had four or five other girl friends.
After she gave bird to their baby she had to kick him out.

He is back to his trade in Cabarete. She does not have any money left.

She was my friend and still is. Also still very beautifull.

Got married to that old and ugly Yankee Wyman.
After slaving for her for many years in bed and outside of bed
he managed to get out of the marriage after he became legal.

He was a friend of a friend and he still lives in the USA.

That sarcastic kind of response is typical from the guys around here!

Maybe their warnings would be better accepted if they didn't try to tear people down at the same time as they are "looking out for their welfare."
