What women really want

Since my friend started a thread for females only, I thought us males should have a place to “tell it like it is”. My experience tells me that women never really seem to know what they want. One day they are hot, the next day they are cold, one day they can not get enough sex, the next 3 weeks they forget what sex is. Apparently it is time for us men (the stronger sex) to tell them what they want.

I believe that the quote from Henry Kissinger, the famous Secretary of State, that: "POWER is the ultimate aphrodisiac” sums it all up. Women want a POWERFUL man. Women have been attracted to a certain kind of man for over one million years, and it's not about to change overnight. In a hostile environment where survival was constantly at stake, where a woman needed a man who could hunt, who was brave, who could defend.... what kind of man do you think she would be attracted to? I think that women have an extra gene that tells them they need a powerful man.

Lets face it guys our attraction to women is based on evolution: In a nutshell, her sexy body means healthy child-bearing abilities whether we want children or not. Her body is why we are able to be so powerful, the real hunter, who fights the dragons all day, needs a warm body at night to rejuvenate his powers. This is why we are attracted to her. We real men are NOT attracted to her on a sexual level because we both enjoy English literature, or she is the CEO of some multi-national company. In fact most of us could care less if she a vocabulary beyond, “yes dear, your right dear, what time would you like dinner my love.” So let me tell you the PRIMARY reason SHE would be attracted to YOU: It would be because you EMANATE MASCULINE POWER through being dominant, confident, and having loads of self-esteem. This is SEXY AS HELL to her. Everything ELSE is HOGWASH. This is why women often love Bad Boys. Bad Boys do whatever they want and fear nothing. And they explain NOTHING. You don't have to be a jerk, but you must be a real MAN. It doesn't cost anything to do this. It's not something that is only available to the rich, or to any other exclusive group.

Mans power comes in many form and was given to him to protect women. A great example of this was demonstrated several months ago when a young Israeli died protecting his girl friend from a knife-wielding Palestinian. The police spokesman said he absorbed the attacker's blows with his body, ultimately collapsing on top of his girlfriend who was unscathed physically. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/946633/posts. Feminism has made the idea of a man "possessing" a woman distinctly unfashionable but this is exactly what both sexes actually want. It mirrors the sex act. To surrender power for love is feminine. When men try to do it, women lose respect. Women unconsciously seek to be overwhelmed by a man. So when a man puts her on a pedestal (because he wants sex or love) he is defeating himself.

We real men however should never underestimate our women, give them some power and watch what happens. Relinquishing our power will only bring disaster. If you don’t believe so just look at these examples:

1.Women think on an emotional basis rather than a logical basis; that is why they are bad decision makers yet they want to make multimillion dollar decisions in the corporate structure.
2.They are insanely jealous and suspicious of all men.
3.Women are very good at messing with guys' brains. Have you ever heard of a woman killing herself over a man? Women are natural psychologists and know every button to press to ruin a man's self esteem, ego, career and wallet.
4.Women are built with an especially attractive body; not only to men but to women. "I'd rather look at a naked woman than a man. I'm not a lesbian, but their form is so much more beautiful...A guy is just a dude with a boner."--- A quote I have heard from several females
5.Colors actually mean something to women; their whole personality will change depending on the dress they're wearing or the color of room they're in.
6.Women hate Pornography, yet are unwilling to find out why it turns so many men on.

In summation, do we need to be bad boys? I think not. Do we need to relinquish any power? I think not!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup Charlie,
I think you are right.. Confidence, masculine power, and self esteem are all sexy qualities. Geez.. and I've been seeing way too many even here in the U.S. Maybe alot of them are military men... Can't wait to get back to the D.R. Wanna see more of those "powerful" men.

Apparently this is not a Dominican woman who understands that her place is in the home, and her duty is to please her man. I have known women like this. They either work outside the home or they are junior leaguers, do goodies, car poolers, soccer moms, or just plain lazy. They want a wife of their own to do all of the cooking, keep the house spotless, raise the children, ect.

This is a real trend in the US and Europe, women who would rather watch TV and eat bon-bons all day than take care of their wifely duties. Thank god those Dominican women understand that their job is to serve their most valuable asset, their man. It makes me wonder why these women who want wives are so surprised to find out their man is having sex with some hot chick from the office.

Ummm, but Dominican women get cheated on too. Let's be real here, we go to Dominican Republic because our relative wealth gives us easier access to tons of really hot women. Wealth that is derive from living in a wealthy country. A wealthy country that affords its women choices that most Dominican women don't have. So of course a lot Dominican women are going to be less demanding than American or European women, they are negotiating from a position of weakness.

Chucky, I see your point (I think) However, I feel a little different than you do. See, I am Dominican and I was raised with the mentality that the man needs 'special' attention and needs to be serviced. I don’t have a problem playing this role, as long as all my hard work is reciprocated with love and attention from my mate. I LIKE to serve and please my husband - not that I feel I HAVE to, where is the love here? See, if you care and are grateful for the love and attention you are given, it is only to your benefit. You can get so much more from a woman by just being plain ol’ nice to her!

I don’t expect my man to do chores (honestly, I’m anal when it comes to cleaning – think Monica from Friends – so cleaning is MY thing) but if I cooked a good meal and I get a kiss on the cheek, a thank you for the cooking and maybe a compliment for how good it was, I would be smiling away the entire time I’m doing the dishes and he is off doing something else (most likely watching TV). I wouldn’t be disgruntled because he is not helping me right this minute.

There are many things that Dominican women ‘soportan’ to keep peace at home. And in all honesty, not sweating the little things is much better than bickering over who should have the power at home. As long as there is love and respect in a relationship, in my opinion, the man will be a King along with his Queen in the kingdom.

It makes me wonder why these women who want wives are so surprised to find out their man is having sex with some hot chick from the office.

It doesnt matter what the wife does at home, if the man wants to cheat (instead of trying to figure out what he is lacking at home) he will do it regardless if he had a harem of wives that called him 'Master' at home...

Do you actually believe everything you write? Take it from me, a powerful woman, you are so disconnected it's not even funny!
