just don't know which one yet. I am really tired from final exams and am looking forward to hopping on that plane on Saturday. I just don't know what I want to do yet. I kind of want to do a little skirt chasing, but Boca Chica may not be the place to do it in. I'll casually stroll around and check out the scene and I'll decide then. But I digress...

I met a young lady on the beach in October about 30 minutes before I had to leave for the airport. She was there with her 5 year-old daughter and she was arguing with a dominican vendor about the price of something. I found it funny how he said, "that's why I don't sell to dominicans" before relenting and cutting her a deal. She also brought her daughter's homework with her so that she could do it on the beach, which struck me as kind of cute.
She told me she worked at Club Lappsos in Santo Domingo so I figured I'll go and check her out. She seemed nice-just a lady out on the beach with her daughter on a day off. She was there alone so I asked her where her husband was-no husband, he took off once the child was born. I asked her what is with dominican men-they always seem to run out on thier girls once they get them pregnant-she said it was just a latino thing. I figure not every dominican girl is a damn hooker, so I'll see what transpires.
Yes, she is a lovely dark-skinned latina.
And no ,she did not strike me as a sankie, either. Just a working class young lady hanging out on the beach with her kid.

She's a hooker, and not really "working class" but a "working girl", and more expensive than most but not a sankie since sankies are men who you pay for sex (unless she might have been a guy in drag , doubtful) .

Regardless of the spelling Lapsus or Lappsos is a brothel. What will transpire is sex for money directly (likely) or indirectly, but she won't be your "girlfriend" and will continue to be a sex worker, maybe a poor choice of future love companions.

How the hell can you be infatuated with some single mother you met on a beach in the DR? How can you sit at home on the US and arrive at the conclusion that she is just a working class girl? How do you know she is not a whore? Why would you allow yourself to develop feelings for some girl you barely know when there is a distinct possibility she IS a whore? My friend, I am sorry to break the news to you but there are hawks and there are prey. Hawks come in all forms. This girl has displayed a couple of characteristics of a hawk. Why would you be flying down there with the intent of seeing her again when there are millions of women on the island? The fact that you allowed yourself to become infatuated with a stranger has softened you as prey. Now, when you fly down to see her again, she will see prey written all over your face.

There are only two ways to approach this situation now. Either aviod her or find her, have sex with her and then show complete disinterest. Doing the latter will completely surprise her and turn the tables in your favor because you will be in the drivers seat. She will realize that she misread you as prey and upon seeing you are no fool, she will quickly ask you for a "present" or some money for her child. She will be doing so to salvage something because she will realize she cannot "slow play" you. If she does not ask for anything but seems genuinely upset that you are not interested then MAYBE you have a ligitimate girl. Then you continue with caution and keep your antennae up.

Of course if she does work in a whorehouse then you know you are dealing with a puta right away.

no infatuation, just interest in a girl I met on the beach. And when I got to Santo Domingo the taxi cab drivers let me know what type of place Club Lappsos is. She told me it was a disco and she served drinks at the bar. Then I asked my neighbor in NYC, a 17 year old native who lives there and she also told me it was a disco. They were both wrong.
I am not nor was I looking for a hooker. I already know where to go for that. I was'nt blinded by any means nor infatuated-just a little interested and curious. She seemed nice when I spoke to her (as if working girls can't possibly be nice people outside of their jobs) so I figured I'll go and check her out. After I found out what I now know, I decided not to visit her at her job.
