Boca Chica has beautiful beach apartments(El Candil) two blocks away. All of the Putas, oops, I mean ladies are coming from San Pedro, Hato Mayor, La Romana and of Course, Santo Domingo.
IMHO, Santiago is a dirty stuck up city with no beach or fresh ocean air, STAY AWAY!!!!

but give me on bottom line and make it real...
if you had the choice of the north coast (sosua/cabarete) vs. south coast (boca chica, juan dolio).... which would you choose if you were to search for the following:
exellent beaches
moderate nightlife (nothing raging as im in my 30's lol)
HOT women

I will third that one. Boca and Sosua are packed with beautiful women. The running joke is that when a girl gets married she request that they move to Santiago in order to avoid all the hotties that her new husband can get together with. Why do you think I am here in this place away from the beautiful beaches.

OK Boogie listen up,
Dominicans LUV to go out on Sundays, Santo Domingo is the Capital with tons of hot chicks as you can see on www.bonche.com. Now on Sundays, they pile up on conchos and head to the Beach, can you guess which one? So if you want to catch the ultimate nightlife in the DR and still be 20-30minutes from the Beach than I see one choice, Boca Chica. If you're smooth, you can hit one of the hot spots in the Capital, hop in a cab and take her back to your bungalow on the beach, and in the morning you guys can chill out drinking an Ice Cold One, while you are enjoying the cool ocean air.
