Advice: time for me to meet her in DR

Ok I have finally decided to go ahead and hit the DR. I would like a little advice. I will try to answer some of the questions before they are asked. I am a 31 year old (look way younger) african american man. I'm considered very attractive here in NY. (Not tooting my own horn) and I'm a Realtor (not rich but doin well) anyway I date primarily black americans and puerto rican or Dominican women here (and also in Miami when I was living there) I have been "talkin" to 2 women in the Dom Rep. For several months now. I met one on yahoo and the other on another site. They both call from time to time. Not long calls but enough to say hi and small talk. One mentioned a bday that recently passed. I sent her 20 bucks WU. No big deal to me. Women always want something lol other than that neither have asked for money. They both have made it clear they would like to get married and move,etc. (Which me being single and no kids as of yet is actually ok... Not this year but... Maybe in the future) anyway... I'm going down there to stay for about a week. One lives in La Romona and the other in Santo Domingo. My spanish is ok not fluent but I can understand it more than I can speak it so I'm usually ok. They have both offered to let me crash at their homes (which they share with family) but suggested wed be better off at a hotel. Which I have no prob with. Obviously I need to split my time between the two.. That's no prob. I expect to have to spend some money on them just as I would here. So what I'm asking from those in the know is exactly how would u go about this situation. A hotel far from their homes? One has a 4 yr old so I guess shed have to get a sitter or let her sis handle that. I am told neither have boyfriends,etc cause they are busy working in the store,etc I'm not too worried about that cause I haven't been there. So I'm sure if they do that won't be an issue when I'm there. What else should I look out for? How should I play this situation to make sure it goes smoothly. I already know about the "tigres" and I'm not that worried about them.

We'll its not "internet love" I mean... I'm gonna go down and have lots of fun. Lots and lots...but at the same time I'm not adverse to letting it grow. I'm a little sick of the american chicks actin like somebody owes them something walking around with their azzes on their shoulders all the time. The latin chicks here for the most part just want respect, food and some fun times. to my experience they haven't been all about the BS and games. My Domincan boys here say they are even more so like that down there!

Food for thought, if they are talking to you on an internet program I wonder how many others they talk to?

You can find people from all over the world and it seems anyone that puts US or Canada in their profile gets a lot of messages. I had to remove where I was from and even put down that I'm a Nonna ( grandmother) but that doesn't stop guys in third countries from contacting me

Oops that reminds me I forgot to download yahoo on my new PC. No wonder it's been so quiet.

Having 'Dominican Republic' as my location in my Skype profile together with 'female' as my gender generates all sorts of unsavoury requests for 'friendship' from men all over the world. I've always blocked them, but maybe I'm missing a chance to earn some quick cash.

To the OP - how do you know you're not 'talking' to a 42-year old housewife like me?

Well... One reason I am pretty sure the one in La Romana doesn't get many calls is because she's in the end of the middle part of the site where I came across her. She said she was contacted once. There are LOTS of girls on that site. I guess the guys just click through a few profiles and move on. If either of them turn out to not be who they say they are I'm still gonna have fun! I do well here and would do well there regardless ill have my own money to get a telly and hang out. So its not like my feelings will be hurt at all. I'm not coming down "just" to see them.Also I have spoken to her dad on the phone several times. Chit chatting. His english is pretty good. Ill be moving back to miami soon so she gave me his number a few months ago.

Man, just don't think. Go there and have fun and then come back for some more. While you are there, hook up with other ones as well. Don't hesitate to hit on their sweet cousins and friends. they might try to steal you.
Life is simple here. Just have fun and then go home with a smile.

Have fun down there and don't let them get attached to you, in matter of fact avoid meeting their families and stay in a Hotel. When these girls see you and like you, "fuggedaboutit" they are latched on. I would recommend getting a cheap pre-paid cell phone to use while you're down there.

When are you going down? I'm a brotha from Cali going to SD on 5/26 for 10 days. I've been building with a couple myself, thinking of taking one to Isla Saona.
