I actually asked because I have had to protect myself before and not just once. So, I guess quite a few of them wanted ....

Most of the time it seems to me that you type just to type! At any rate, I thought you had already visited the DR and know about DR men - hell you got yourself Dominican boyfriend! so whats all the questions about being grabbed and whatnot.

Did YOU get grabbed by that fool and now you think everyone is the same? I dont think I've ever heard of anyone here being grabbed or touched while on vacation here before. And like someone else said already - EVERYBODY (NOT just men) will do anything you allow them to!

Ana, I read 'her story' the problem is that is not consistent. I normally dont blast people - unless they actually bother me... but in this case, she keeps posting and is so hard to keep it together. I find myself trying to go back to read what she wrote before so that I can understand the current post and it DOESNT work!

OKAY - WAAAAY too much effort for this one - I'll go get some coffee now...

I feel the same way. I just don't bother going back to reread. I read the post and if I understand, great. If not, oh well. Too much hassles in life already.

I was actually trying to get an advice on Dominican culture and life style from people who are from there or travel there all the time. I thought this forum was designed for this purpose. Sorry, if some of my posts did not make sense to you, but it is difficult to give details in a "chat room" situation to people you don't really know ....

No, I just came back from a vacation in another place where men were extremely disrespectful to all women. That is why I asked about DR. Is this forum only for people who have been there already?
