Berzin, in my opinion you are so right. I still remember the SHAFT movies from the 70's. In one scene there was an old guy who matter-of-factly stated, "Money always matters". I have never forgotten those 3 words. Simply stated, women like men who have money. What female would marry a dirt po' man with nothing to bring to the table but good looks, great sex & lots of bills?......................uh... wait a minute. I just thought about the female sankie victims who have posted here. I take back that last statement.

Money is security - everyone wants it. Women who have no security on their own (in DR for example) are looking to get it from men. Women who have security on their own (jobs, living in developed countries) can afford to look for love and love only. Sankies use it: give them romance and nothing else.

The best option would be when love and security come together but even in this case there are still things like respect, trust, common goals and interests ..... etc.

Many, many Dominican women do go out with men not for who they are but for what they think the man can offer them. This ritual extends to all age groups and all social classes in the Dominican Republic. Some (not all) of the many women I have met in the DR had their first sexual experience either with a much older and financially responsible man or an older tigure that the girl chose because of his smooth talking and bling.

Old, fat, guys like me are really no catch for any beautiful woman, Dominican or not. Yet, this scenario, older men and younger women together is played out all over the world for one reason or another. Some families marry off, in prearranged marriages, their young daughters to much older men for financial reasons, sometimes to support the daughters’ entire family, or in other cases to solely provide a better future for the daughter.

Keep in mind the Dominican women I am speaking of are not the street and carwash whores we so often speak of here. These are women who have been introduced to older men by a family member or friends. The men for the most part are not tourists, nor do these women work in AI’s, bars, or sell their bodies for any reason.

Humans are for the most part the same worldwide. Our basic responsibility is to ourselves and to our families. Everyone on this planet wants a better life, and many are willing to do unspeakable things to provide for themselves, their children and their families. The real trick is to separate the totally immoral, lazy, and mentally ill, form decent family oriented women.

If I were to walk down the street in any major North American city and ask the first 1000 women that I meet it they would like to have sex with me, chances are I would have no takers. By the same token in the DR I bet 25 would say yes. (Basic reason, they think I have money) On the other hand if I took that same walk and offered each North American woman $50 for sex, my odds would go up. May be 3 in 1000 would accept. In the DR 50% of those asked would accept. Why, now they know I have some money. Culture, lifestyle, and outside influences play such a different role in the moral values of women in other countries we Americans and Euros will never be able to understand.

Are the many decent women in the DR with high moral standards? Yes there are, but there are just as many if not more that dance to a different drummer.

Along with that, there are alot of girls right here in the USA who sell themselves not out of necessity but for that bling lifestyle. I don't know if they still do it but alot of arab oil men used to get their girls recruited right off the USC campus. $10,000 for a weekend.
Not whores, mind you, just your average all-american sweety-pie co-eds who need extra money for school.

Probably most you guys remember from high school that the guy with the fancy car, even if he was a jerk, attracted more females than the good looking nice guy that was broke with no car. Women are the same world over, if they see a guy that in their minds, offers them what they want at that particular time in their life, they are willing to barter with what the guy wants, their body.
