It is funny but alot of these tourists think they are the only "white" people on the island.

In Santo Domingo, you can go to any university and you will see them. Also in restaurants, conferences. This kind you won't see them often because some of them drive.
Employers hire model looking girls as receptionists.
I had an experience years ago. I was the accountant of a small company. My neighbor came to visit with his brother's wife. She is white an beautiful but no education. Months had passed when they needed a receptionist. The administrator called me and asked me if can bring that girl that came to visit me for an interview. I forgot about her because she was not my friend, but he described the girl. The girl came and was hired only because of her face. She had to be trained how to speak on the phone and how to trat cosumers.
I do not think she had her 8th grade certificate.

You can find plenty of white dominicans in Santiago. Even the mocanas are in Santiago. Ahh one more thing, one of the girls on the pic of my bday party is mocana.

The domincan true blonds are more dificult to find but there are still plenty of them.
