its a privacy issue, in my experience women are much more secretive with respect to there nocturnal or diurnal urges. guys love to boast about their exploits with women and to a lesser extent she - males. However, women are afraid of what their friends/others will say about them. Women are incredibly harsh on each other, and will resort to name calling eg slut, scrag, prison whore, and dirty bitch ...you know these names...we've all been called them before and they're often just as familiar to each of us as are our own names... Hell! the amount of times ive been called a dirty scrag as ive just jumped out of the window of the local nunnery....god only knows!
Anyways, like the old saying says; when the cats away their pussy will play!

Women get jealous that someone can afford doing this sort of thing when she feels like it and they can't But in general US society is conservative, people are worried about their image and what other people will think or say. They act uptight, wear conservative clothes, go to church even if they don't believe in anything and don't like to see anyone differentiate from this sort of life style ...

Default Yo, Mr. Berzin--I missed your earlier comment...

but will reply to it now.

I don't know where you got the impression that I was referring to women who married for money. If you believe that all marriages are an economic transaction with the woman signing on for a Free Pass to Nieman-Marcus, then there is really no starting point to discuss this.

I don't believe that--I do believe that there are huge percentages of first marriages where the woman signs on to be a partner. She may or may not hold an outside job. How many stories are there of professional men being supported in non-economic and economic ways by their first wives only to dump them unceremoniously for the newer model when the mid-life crisis hits?

Do I believe that there are many many Carmen Electras or Anna Nicoles out there doing what you cite? Sure. But I don't think it's the norm.

Talk to women in their 50's and 60's who despair of ever finding a second (or third) mate because of the combination of demographics and the kootchy-mama syndrome. It's not their fault, not their choice.

I suspect we are not going to come close to detente in discussing this, but I didn't want you to think I was ducking the topic.
