Let us use commonsense rationale as to why men and women choose to get together.
There must always be an attraction for wanting to be with anyone in particular. This can vary widely, it can be anything from sex appeal (beautiful person), to financial status (rich person) and a lot of other reasons in between.
People will not always like or even love you for reasons that you would consider "right". If you are getting what you want out of this relationship with minimal heartache, in the end, it makes absolutely no difference why she still wants to be with you.
You have given her more than she could probably hope for in life and most likely knows it. Anyone that has experienced dire poverty and the responsibility of raising children without the support of a husband can indeed appreciate someone who can treat her with love, affection, kindness and financial support.
So what if you're twice her age or maybe not physically attractive? What really counts is how beautiful you are inside. This relationship will triumph in spite of your differences. As long as there is pleasure in, get pleasure and benefit from one another, this union will last a long time. guaranteed!

I agree that most Dominican women that I have known care more about who you are inside than what you look like on the outside.

Sometimes it may seem hard to believe but that has been my experience.
