[North coast newbie]

I am a 50-year-old man from the States. I bought into a hotel and moved to the North Coast a couple of months ago. I had been alone for many years and hoped to find a woman here that I could settle down with. I stayed away from the local girls, as they all seemed to be hookers. I was told by the locals that good women were not to be found in my town, that I had to go to the country to find a good woman. By good woman I mean one that a long term loving relationship is possible with. I am not concerned with an amorous past, just a positive future. Well I think I found one. I was not the least bit skeptical until I stumbled upon this thread. Well maybe skeptical is not the right word, cautious you might say. Here are some warning signs that I picked up on another posting. She is half my age. She is incredibly beautiful. I have so much and she has so little. That said, our relationship seems to be going along well. I earnestly believe that it can work. She has asked for little and given me so much. Oh yea, the sex is great too. She speaks almost no English and I speak almost no Spanish. We spend our time passing the English-Spanish dictionary back and forth. Some evenings are spent out on the town or at my hotel and others at her shanty with her children. I am going forward with this relationship regardless but I am interested in what this forum has to say.

I can't see why you shouldn't.
Unless you commit yourself in a hurry, there could be good times ahead.

Sounds great to me.

Get a pre-nup before she moves in though, unless the sex is so good you won't care about losing everything .

The dictionary method works great. It is hard to run out of things to say because it takes so long to get one thought across.

isn't it funny, or has anyone else noticed that when females come and say something similar they are ripped to shreads and when males come on saying some love story they are given a "good luck" and "there could be good times ahead"

Brother, the DR is FULL of older men from other countries with beautiful girls on their arms. If you have to ask why she is with you just take a look at her living conditions.

I want to believe she sincerly cares about you but you have to admit you do fit a cetain profile that would make her intentions rather obvious to everyone else around you.

Keep us posted, though-it would be great if it works out. The only thing I would suggest is to get two dictionaries instead of one. You're gonna get tired of passing it around all day.
