Try looking at yourself and maybe changing something about yourself or places where you go. Usually there are reasons why we attract wrong people. I noticed it from personal experience.

Why should i change myself for anyone? I'm quite happy with myself the way i am. I have a reasonably good job and i'm not that bad looking quite a good catch for the right person i think.

It is not about changing yourself, it is about looking at ourselves from the side and maybe changing the way we behave. What we think about ourselves is sometimes not the way we are percepted by other people looking at us.

Thank you for your words of wisdom, however i'm completely happy in my own skin and i'm genuinely a good person. I work hard and on occassion play hard. Ideally i'll find someone for nice relaxing nights in but until then i'll enjoy kissing the frogs, the law of averages say at least one of them will turn into a prince eventually.

Sounds like your speaking from experience so which would you be the frog or prince.

I think people can change especially as they get a little older and learn from past mistakes. You maybe a frog in the beginning but as you grow older, live and learn theres every chance they'll eventually turn into a prince.

Betty I'll say one last thing then you can do as you please of course,

being friends with an ex in your home country is very different than being friends with a Dominican. If you didn't start off as friends and you still call each other you are sending him the message that you are still interested and no matter how many times you tell him you want to be friends having cute chats unless it's about the prices of fuel going up will send him the message to not give up. It's a challenge right.

If he is a sankie he gets a few pesos and calls the 10 "friends" on his list hoping sooner or later his investment will pay off one way or another.

It's good business practice.
