I for one would never cheat with a married woman in The DR...very dangerous business. Someone said never cheat with a coronel's wife and I would extend that further to say never cheat with the wife of anyone who's in the military or has any kind of influence.

There are some women who cheat on their husbands because these treat them like crap (i.e. don't give them any or enough money for basic needs like food), so they find someone else who will give them a few "gifts" here and there.

There are others who's husband or boyfriend is away to The US, Europe or some other country. These normally cheat to help pass the time and stop while the husband or boyfriend is back in The DR, but start again once he's gone back...

Back in the days if a man found out his wife was cheating he would cut off one of her ears so everyone would know from that point forward that she committed adultery and she would be treated like a cuero....The good old days...

"My sources" tell me that only about 2% of Domininican women cheat while about 50% of Dominican men cheat--but who can really know since women are far better at covering their tracks than men.
