I don't want this thread to die, so I'll post, even though I might risk some sarcastic remarks.
For a part of my trip, I was on different resorts for short periods of time, so not enough time to be sankified. Anyway, I had an unusual experience.
Me and my roomates (3 other girls) were hanging out with some of the workers on the resort (The Gran Jimenoa in Jarabocoa, which was so out of the way we couldn't just walk into town, as well, we didn't really feel comfortable just going out without our tour leader) Just regular stuff, had a couple drinks (note, they didn't have drinks, they had no money) MY whole group went out to the nightclub on our last night there (only spent 2 nights) and I danced with one worker there. We sat together on the bus on the way back to the hotel (nothing went down) and when we got back to the hotel, we all sat at the pool and talked. Then it was just me and the resort worker (still nothing went down) He walked me back to my room and when we got to the door and he asked me for money for a sick child that he apparently had. Just like that, no money was ever exchanged, no saliva exchanged. Nothing. And he just asked for money. I said no and he immediately apologized for asking and seemed to feel embarrassed. Then he just said bye, apologized again and left.
I never posted that before because I didn't even think that counted as being sankified.
Highly unusual, but the only thing I decifered from that was that he actually had a child who was sick and was that desperate to just randomly ask me even though we had not had that kind of relationship. It was very weird.
So, in conclusion, I guess that would be the "I have a sick family member" line

He probably is a sankie, but I do not count that as being sankified (no money, no sex, no nothing, therefore, not sankified)

I like you very much. I can't be seen talking to you, people are watching me. Meet me at the front gate to the hotel at XX time.
Which means, I have other girls here, but would like to add you to my client base, but not get caught.

I'm not judging you ... consenting adults are free to do as they wish ... methinks she doth protest too much. Btw, "no nothing" means something
