If the original poster would like to know how to get a visa for this guy or how this guy can get his own visa I think she gave us to much useless info and not enough info if her question is only on how to get a visa.
We have a legal section with visa questions which is not a problem if she posted in the wrong forum I can easily move it but it would help if she mentioned what country he's trying to get a visa to.
And please leave out the personal info if you do not want advice on the relationship.
want to hear it from the original poster what it is she wants and then we'll go from there
Thanks

Thank you TLC...But I am not a Dominicana...I am actually of Spanish descent, but not Dominican really....Mother is Cuban and father is a Domincan york who does not even speak spanish....
Anyway, I want relationship and visa advice...I guess my questioin boils down to this....as TLC said I am not looking for someone to say...this is the man for you...I know people get bashed on here...I am not stupid...I just want to know THIS:
*****Can there actually be a Dominican man out there can get a visa, but just does not want to....Has it ever occured to you that maybe there is a guy that has a good job, has what he needs and wants in Dominican Republic and does not want to leave. Can that be true?******
I guess if the answer to that is yes, I will continue pursuing the relationship, if not then I will move on....

We are not fortune tellers and we don't know the minds of all 10 million people that still live there. Whatever it is he has told you is up to you to find out the truth or if you're being fleeced.
Good luck
BTW you people need to get out of the sankie forum because what is there does NOT I repeat does not apply to all Dominicans but only serves as a guide of what to watch for because big bad wolves that do exist.
If you don't see any red flags and all that is written about sankies does not apply then I guess you don't have one do you?

Folks, from personal experience, not every dominican is dying to leave the country. there are plenty of wealthy, middle-class and well-to-do people out there. (i.e. my aunt owns a salon and a house, kids go to college, never been to the US, would like to visit period. she's very comfortable in DR.) this should answer the question.

what's wrong with a little fun ? afterall, look at all the men who go to the DR and basically do the same thing (not me of course LOL). if you go to the DR and it doesn't work out, what will you do then ?

I've heard both stories, I love my country and I don't want to leave, then I heard, it is so hard to live here and I want to leave. The original line saying I don't want to leave, was a cover up for his true intentions.
We can give advice but are not mind readers or fortune tellers here. If we were we would have won the lottery and moved to the DR permanently.
Good luck, time and money will tell.

This is one smart Dominican you have met online. All that he is telling you could or could not be true, but what difference dose it make? All you want is someone to keep you warm during that brutal Canadian winter, and it seems he is willing. The guy has it made. You come visit, he gets some lovin’ and dose not have to freeze his butt off or get a visa.
Congratulations you are one smart woman.

Thanks everyone....
Hry guys, I am not fat, ugly, nor do I need a man to keep me warm...or satisfied for that matter...LOL
I am just a normal girl who met a normal guy on the internet...except that normal guy happensbut be a dominican who does not have a visa....and happens to say he love his country and does not want to leave....that is where you guys come in....
But I guess some people did answer my question...there can be middle class Domincans content with their lives and that do not want to come to the US....That was what I wanted to know....
I do plan on meeting him in the next few months...hopefully he can get a visa to visit me. I do think that would be best. If everyone is curious, I will let you know how it goes.....
