I have to disagree MommC, I think you're being a bit prejudiced. I grew up in a city FULL of Haitians, in a neighbourhood FULL of Haitians. Many of my best friends are Haitians in relationships with non-Haitians and their relationships are very strong.

Although, I have to say this, Haitians living in DR and not the same as Haitians living in, say Montreal. The ones here tend to be in less desperate situations and are treated a hundred times better!
