Hello,

A friend and I are visiting Sosua this weekend and have not been there for a few years, can anyone tell us what has changed?

On top of where the girls are can anyone guide us to where to buy one of a kind artwork?

Sosua is in a constant state of flux.
Disco trends change, businesses and people come and go.

Yes, sorry. Girls and artwork. Girls to hang out with over the weekend and then where we would find any art galleries to shop for art?

As far as "girls" go. You can find them just about anywhere in Sosua. Particularly near the tourist areas. I was staying at Casa Marina Resort this past February and the bars in on surrounding streets were full of girls although I believe many of them were "working" if you know what I mean. As for art, many stores near the resorts display them right on the sidewalk. Just walk around the Batey area and you can't miss finding all that you are looking for.

some dominican friends from the capital have a name for Sosua;................. " Sodoma" .I wonder why!?

Sounds pretty much the same as I remember it as far as the girls. As for the art there was one small gallery by a popular steakhouse?? Is there any others or does a person have to go still to the larger populated areas?
