Yeah for $20 you can buy a wife :P Disregard those comments. From my experience women are attracted to foreigners, it is almost a universal rule no matter where you go outside your country, what is different or exotic tends to be seen as more attractive than what's around everyday. That being said, be weary of those women that tend to pay too much attention to you, they might have an alterior motive. Another thing which I am told by dominican women is that many like foreigners because they are percieved as being more faithful and less machista then dominican men. Race is not an issue.

This must be a joke! If you came down here and took a look at some of the 'sights' that the young and beautiful Dominican women are 'hooked' up with you'd realise that you'd be the equivalent of 'Brad Pitt' to them..... especially if your screen name is a descriptive!

If you're in NY, then check out the attraction first in a few bars in Washington Heights aka the DR in NY. This will save you a few bucks on a flight and you can see how you're doing without the obvious attraction of your wallet.

Ask a few women to teach you how to dance is a nice ice-breaker.

you are in NYC....why not go up to some of the spots in washington heights? DO you speak spanish...are you interested in domincan culture, music, food, etc? i have met many domincans in the NYC area and once they know that i travel to their country (other than for sex) they really warm up to me.

I dont specificaly fetishise or "target" domincans tho. I love the latino cultures (i am totaly gringo..tall and white...but 1/2 mexican) ...but i just seem to bond more with domincans since i take a real interest in their country.

If you are all that you say you are..there are many domincanas working on wall street etc that would be happy to date you...especialy if you let them know that you like their country....(just dont say that you go to either boca chica or sosua lol)

I am a dominicana, and after living in NYC for 12 years now, I don't see a white person as something exotic anymore. As a young woman, I used to only like white guys (due to an obsession w/Leonardo Di Caprio and because I only used to like pale skin, light eyes, and straight hair) but now things have changed...I always had the perception that all Latin men were machistas, would abuse their wives physically, etc and that because in America there is more freedom and society has different, more progressive mentality, I needed to date white guys because I hold some of the same values that white people have. Before college, I didn’t know that there are attractive men in Latin America as well or at least I had not seen any but I have to confess that this perception has changed due to college education and meeting people from other Latin American countries and now it has reversed….now I embrace my culture and I think I want to date people within my culture (I don't care whether the guy is Dominican, Colombian, Brazilian or Argentinean, I don't discriminate) because I feel I blend in better with them. I lived in Denmark for a college semester and guys over there only seem to like white girls, so…I lost some interest on the white guy liking thing…LMAO!!!
