All inclusive or no?

I am considering coming down to the DR for the 1st time in mid-December, and am wondering if an all inclusive adult retreat is the way to go, or if I am better off staying at one of the local resorts in Santo Domingo and trying to find one of the "friendly" local ladies to spend a few days with me. Any thoughts?

Obviously I am not real good at meeting the friendly locals or I would do that here where I live!

Change your plans and fly into Puerto Plata and stay in Sosua and you will be fine. Do a search for guest friendly hotels on the site and your on your way, have fun.
