Default You will NOT see a whole lot of the island

This is most definately not Barbaados (affectionately called "Little England"). Barbados fits in one of our provinces. The DR is much larger than Scotland.
Mountains that go up to 10,000+ feet and depressions that are -45 feet below sea level.
Rainforests, desert mesquite and cactus. large valleys for farming...
20 golf courses and more in the making-AND you can play them all year round.

So, please define what you are looking to do, and refine it. Read those two threads for some good ideas..
