Hotels in Puerto Plata

We have stayed at the Hotel Sunshine, several times during our visit. Can someone recommand another place to stay.

You can try the apart-hotel Lomar and costa atlantica(formerly puerto plata beach resort and casino) Both are located on the malecon.

A good website to find all the budget hotels is www.puertoplataguide.com very good info however the prices have not been updated since 2001. Good luck. If you require more info just pm me.
